MATTHEW BALL

Matthew Ball is a graduate of Oakland University.  He holds a B.A. in both Music & History with honors. 

In addition to teaching, Matthew is also an active performer, specializing in playing New Orleans and Swing Era music.  As a performer he has performed across 15  states, appeared on radio and television, and has been a part of everything from symphony appearances to music festivals and concert series.  

As a piano teacher, Matthew's piano students have been the recipients of many recognitions over the years, including University music scholarships.  Matthew teaches all styles of music from Classical to
Pop & Jazz.  To sum up, Matthew's approach to teaching music is centered in beliefs that include
